Audi has been involved in cultural arts for over 60 years: The desire to foster and support culture originated in 1962, when employees initiated the founding of the Audi Philharmonic Wind Orchestra. The cultural program Audi ArtExperience now includes various priorities, from the program’s own formats like the Audi Summer Concerts and the Audi Youth Choir Academy to sponsorship of high-caliber cultural institutions like the Salzburg Festival.

Audi Summer Concerts 2024: up-and-coming musicians and international stars

With their top-quality performances of classical music and experimental formats, the Audi Summer Concerts have long been well-known and loved in the Ingolstadt region and beyond. In 2024, the major music festival will take place from June 22 to July 21, with a program that will again feature symphony concerts, chamber music, and excursions into jazz, as well as musical experiences for young people and children. The spectrum ranges from an in-house production of the opera “The Fairy Queen” with a touch of breakdancing and the children’s concert classic “Hansel and Gretel” to a public workshop for Ingolstadt schoolchildren. Opening night will feature the Audi Young Persons’ Choral Academy performing Beethoven’s “Missa solemnis”.

Audi Teams up with Netflix on “The Gray Man” as the Official Automotive Brand featured in the Film

Audi and Netflix collaborate on The Gray Man to bring the world of Sierra Six (Ryan Gosling) to fans around the world. As the film’s official automotive brand, four Audi vehicles will be featured including the all electric Audi RS e-tron GT and Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron, as well as the Audi RS 7 Sportback and Audi R8 Coupe. The Gray Man opened in select theaters globally on July 15 and will be released worldwide on Netflix tomorrow July 22, 2022. The Gray Man is a modern-day global action thriller that features a star-studded cast: Ryan Gosling (Sierra Six), Chris Evans (Lloyd Hansen), Ana de Armas (Dani Miranda), Jessica Henwick (Suzanne Brewer), Regé-Jean Page (Denny Carmichael), Wagner Moura (Laszlo), Julia Butters (Claire), Dhanush (Avik San), with Billy Bob Thornton (Donald Fitzroy), and Alfre Woodard (Margaret Cahill), and more.

Audi is making the history of the Salzburg Festival “experienceable”

Virtual time travel in an Audi e-tron: At the Salzburg Festival 2021, Audi is linking tradition with innovation and inviting all festival visitors and interested parties on an eventful drive through this history of the festival. In the back of an Audi e-tron, guests approach several locations that played a particular role in the festival’s development. That journey utilizes technology that was originally advanced by Audi and the company holoride and that carries passengers off to three-dimensional worlds via virtual reality glasses* while integrating vehicle movements into the experience in real time. About 1,000 experience drives are planned during the course of the festival. In the process, Audi is retrospectively celebrating its 25th anniversary as a leading sponsor and the 100th anniversary of the Salzburg Festival after these rides were canceled last year.
