Audi Sport GmbH’s most powerful SUVs: The new RS Q8 performance and the updated RS Q8

Audi is rounding out the Audi Q8 model range, not only with the new RS Q8³ with an output of 441 kW (600 PS) but is adding a new, second version to the top model in the series: the RS Q8 performance² . Its increased output of 471 kW (640 PS) makes the SUV the most powerful series-produced combustion model in the history of Audi Sport GmbH. Both vehicles boast outstanding driving dynamics thanks to an optimized, self-locking center differential while guaranteeing an equally impressive suitability for everyday use. The exterior of the RS Q8³ and RS Q8 performance² take their cues from the recently upgraded Q8. New equipment packages allow more freedom for customization. The new Audi RS Q8³ and RS Q8 performance² will be launched in June of this year. Prices start at 141,900 and 155,700 euros.

Back on track: lap record for Audi Sport in the compact segment

Frank Stippler has set a new lap record on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife with a preproduction model of the RS 3 product upgrade⁴. The Audi Sport racing and development driver clocked an impressive time of 7:33.123 minutes, beating the current fastest lap time in this class by more than five seconds. Further proof that the enhanced top model from the A3 series is once again the fastest compact car.

The Highest Arts: Audi RS 3 performance edition

The RS 3 performance edition^{5, 6}, the sportiest compact model from Audi Sport, is fast and a true street artist. Developed for maximum performance, the special edition boasts 299 kW (407 PS) of power and a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). In addition to well-known top technologies like the RS torque splitter and ceramic brakes, it has RS bucket seats for optimized lateral support and a whole host of exclusive design elements.

Comfortable and agile – Audi’s eAWS technology turns SUVs into quick-change artists

Audi has resolved this conflict of objectives by means of electromechanical roll stabilization (eAWS). Assisted by the 48-volt onboard electrical system and powerful actuators, the stabilizers on the front and rear axle can be actively controlled according to the driving situation.
