German international Jamal Musiala has opted for an Audi Q6 SUV e-tron while rising star Aleksandar Pavlović has chosen an Audi Q4e-tron: FC Bayern Munich players, coaches, and officials receive their new company cars for the current soccer season. The fleet has consisted entirely of all-electric vehicles since 2020. Like central defender Dayot Upamecano, the assistant coaches have chosen the Audi SQ6 SUV e-tron. Among its standout features, the sporty sibling of the Q6 SUV e-tron boasts a range of up to 598 kilometers and offers impressive charging performance. With the Q6 e-tron series, electric mobility is rolling off the line in Ingolstadt for the first time. Another popular model is the Audi RS e-tron GT performance, which will be driven this season by players such as Thomas Müller, Konrad Laimer, and Leon Goretzka. Mythos Black Metallic and Daytona Gray Pearl Effect are among the most popular colors. A hint of match-day excitement at the Audi Piazza Match day announcer Stephan Lehmann welcomes the players from Germany’s record championship club on their arrival on the FC Bayern team bus. Audi CEO and FCB Supervisory Board Member Gernot Döllner emphasizes the importance of the long-standing partnership: “FC Bayern has been a strong partner at our side for over 22 years. We share the high standards we set for ourselves and the goal of being at the top of our respective fields. As we move towards an electric future, FC Bayern’s professional players are important ambassadors, helping to inspire people about electric mobility with our all-electric models. In terms of sportiness, our vehicles are a perfect match for the club’s soccer pros.”

The best-selling electric car of the four Rings is becoming more attractive - thanks to an even broader model range. With the Q4 35 e-tron, Audi is making it easier to enter the all-electric premium compact segment.
Suitability for everyday use confirmed: a Paralympian and a wheelchair user test the Audi charging hub The Audi Q4e-tron model family offers driving aids from the factory Ample room between charging stations and adjustable and lightweight equipment are decisive factors for easy use
When creating infrastructure for electric vehicles, it is important to remember people with mobility requirements. Audi brand ambassador Gerd Schönfelder, the most successful Winter Paralympian of all time, and Audi driver Uwe Herrmann have clear ideas on what charging without barriers and disability-friendly vehicle modifications should look like. Schönfelder lost his right arm and shoulder in an accident at the age of 19, while Hermann has been using a wheelchair since adolescence. While Schönfelder has been driving an Audi Q4e-tron for the past 18 months, Herrmann (still) drives an Audi with a gasoline engine and is curious to hear about Schönfelder’s experiences. At the opening of the sixth Audi charging hub in Frankfurt am Main, the two men met up for a chat.
Gerd Schönfelder: Public charging stations must be accessible for all electric car drivers, including people with mobility needs. With its barrier-free features like the swivel arm and the height-adjustable display, the Audi charging hub is a great place for people like us with disabilities to charge their cars in a comfortable environment quickly. In my opinion, however, everybody benefits from the barrier-free concept at this charging facility. Uwe Herrmann: I’m still driving a car with a gasoline engine, but everything I’ve heard about e-mobility to date sounds positive. And the Audi charging hub looks promising, too. Sometimes, I have to ask for help filling up my current Audi SQ5 when the car is in an awkward position. But that could soon change with an electrically powered Audi at a charging point like this.
The fully electric Audi Q4e-tron and Audi Q3, Audi Q5, and Audi Q7 series made a particularly significant contribution to this growth. The share of EU taxonomy-aligned revenue rose to 16.3 (2022: 13.5) percent. Solid operating profit, operating margin within expected corridor The operating profit of the Audi Group reached €6,280 (2022: 7,550) million, despite negative effects from raw material hedging transactions. While these had a positive effect of €0.8 billion in the previous year, they decreased the operating profit by €-0.9 billion in 2023. The operating margin was within the expected corridor at 9.0 percent. Audi is giving its employees a share in the profits in recognition of their efforts during the challenging year of 2023. For a skilled worker at the German plants, for example, the Audi profit share in 2023 amounts to €8,840 (2022: 8,510). Profit sharing is based on a formula set forth in the labor agreement that takes the operating profit into account, among other factors. Good performance from Bentley, Lamborghini, and Ducati The strong financial performance of the Bentley, Lamborghini, and Ducati brands contributed to the brand group’s result. Lamborghini delivered 10,112 (2022: 9,233) cars to customers in fiscal year 2023, for a strong growth of 9.5 percent. Revenue exceeded the very strong previous year by 12.1 percent, increasing to €2,663 (2022: 2,375) million. The operating margin was 27.2 percent; the operating profit reached €723 million. Bentley delivered 13,560 (2022: 15,174) cars. Revenue amounted to €2,938 (2022: 3,384) million. The operating margin reached 20.1 percent; the operating profit was €589 million. Ducati delivered 58,224 motorbikes to customers last year – a slight decrease compared to the record year of 2022 with 61,562 deliveries. At €1,065 million, the brand’s revenue was also slightly below the very strong previous year (€1,089 million). The operating margin reached 10.5 percent; the operating profit was €112 million.
Schönfelder is an arm amputee and drives a model from the Audi Q4e-tron series with driving aids fitted at the factory. In 2007, Audi became the first automaker to put driving aids in their configurator. “The whole package of fast-charging, comfort and convenience, and price is highly appealing,” adds Schönfelder. At HPC charging points, Audi customers pay from €0.35/kWh depending on their contract. Virtual tips and support Following tests in Berlin and Munich, a customer service concept is also being used for the first time in Frankfurt: Specially trained staff provide tips and assistance via camera. The support advisors can check the charging process remotely. If difficulties arise during authentication, they can point out the option of paying by credit card, for example. Audi also offers assistance with setting up Plug & Charge. The service can be accessed via a hotline. "An offer that was very well received during the test phase," says Nikolai Senst. Lichte’s time at Audi saw new generations of serial best sellers introduced as well as the brand’s first standalone electric model series – the Audi e-tron, the e-tron GT, and the Q4 model family. Audi CEO Gernot Döllner emphasizes: “Together with his team, Marc Lichte shaped the evolution of the brand’s design into the age of electric mobility. We thank Marc for having been a creative mind and visionary for the face of the brand for a decade.”
There was particularly strong demand for the Audi Q4e-tron (+112 percent). Audi will continue to emphatically drive this transformation forward in 2024. The world premiere of the Audi Q6 e-tron at the end of the first quarter of this year also marks the debut of the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE), which was developed specifically for electric models. Other model launches will follow the Audi Q6 e-tron. Thanks in part to the improved supply situation, Audi was able to better meet increased demand for models from across its portfolio last year. In addition to the brand’s fully electric models, the Audi Q5 (332,000 units), Audi A6 (267,000 units), and Audi A4 (237,000 units) were particularly popular. Audi Sport delivered around 48,000 high-performance vehicles worldwide for an increase of five percent compared to the previous year. In Europe, around 748,000 vehicles (+20 percent) were delivered despite the challenging market environment. Fully electric models saw the strongest growth (+30 percent), with the Audi Q4e-tron leading the way (+68 percent). Audi expanded its strong position in Germany, increasing deliveries in the brand’s home market by more than 17 percent to more than 252,000 vehicles. Deliveries of fully electric models increased by around 13 percent to 32,000 units. Audi sees the USA as a future and growth market with great potential. And the figures for 2023 back that up. With around 229,000 deliveries (+22 percent), last year was the brand’s best sales year to date. Demand was especially high for fully electric models, with deliveries increasing by around 55 percent to 25,000. Audi also reported increased deliveries in the important market of China: The company delivered a total of more than 729,000 cars to customers in China and Hong Kong for an increase of more than 13 percent compared to the previous year. In all other markets worldwide, Audi delivered around 190,000 vehicles (+19 percent) in 2023.
The Audi Q4e-tron (+162 percent) accounted for a significant share of the growth. The share of electric vehicles in the brand group’s deliveries rose to around 9 percent. Hildegard Wortmann: “Sales of electric cars continue to pick up speed” “Our momentum in the area of electromobility continues to pick up speed, as is clearly demonstrated by the year-on-year increase of almost 60 percent in deliveries of fully electric Audi models. In the first three quarters, we also delivered more vehicles to our customers overall than in the same period last year – with around 1.4 million models delivered and an increase of 16 percent despite the challenging market environment, we can be very satisfied. Thank you to all Audi employees for this strong performance!” Growth in all global markets, especially in Europe and the USA In the first nine months of the year, the Audi brand was on course for growth worldwide. In Europe, the brand with the four rings saw an increase in deliveries of 24 percent, with just under 559,000 models delivered in the reporting period. The home market of Germany played a major role in the strong performance. There, the brand delivered almost 185,000 cars, around 20 percent more than in the same period last year. Growth in electric vehicles was 24 percent. In both the United Kingdom and Italy, Audi delivered 30 percent more vehicles year on year. Performance in the USA was similarly strong, where Audi handed over just under 168,000 vehicles for an increase of more than 26 percent. The brand made particularly strong gains in electric models, with deliveries rising by 48 percent. Growth was as high as 93 percent in the third quarter alone. A very good third quarter in China In China, Audi saw growth of more than 5 percent in the first three quarters compared with the same period in 2022, with around 522,000 vehicles delivered.
