During June, Audi will once again be intensively recruiting young people who qualify for university entrance or have completed a bachelor’s degree. Students and program coordinators from both the Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm sites will present information about the numerous dual study programs and development opportunities at Audi in live-streamed chats. Important for prospective students: The application deadline for the winter semester of 2022 already starts on June 21 and runs to September 5, 2021.
“The automotive industry is undergoing transformation. In addition to quality and premium, we are now focusing on autonomous driving, electric mobility, services and digitalization. These are important fields in which the dual study degree programs at Audi are preparing students for careers with a future”, says Marco Reich, Head of Audi Vocational Training and Coordination of Dual Study Programs.
Reich urges prospective students to “ask us questions.” “We'll explain in which areas graduates can work for Audi, what entry-level opportunities are available and, of course, other ways we can provide advice and support.” The answers will be presented directly in the live streams on June 15, 16 and 17. Students and program coordinators from Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm will report here on their experiences and will explain how the dual study program at Audi works.
At the Ingolstadt site, Audi offers bachelor’s degree programs in cooperation with the university Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) in the fields of mechanical engineering, business information systems, user experience design, electrical engineering and electric mobility, electrical and information technology as well as aircraft and vehicle informatics. Bachelor’s degree graduates can expand their scientific and practical knowledge with the dual study master's degree programs in robotics – cognition – intelligence, in Information technology and in electrical engineering for mobile systems. They will complete the theoretical courses at the Technical University of Munich or at THI.
Audi combines theory and practice at the Neckarsulm site in a degree program with the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University. Prospective students can choose between the degree programs in business informatics – data science, mechatronics – vehicle systems engineering – electric mobility, electrical engineering – vehicle electronics with a focus on electric mobility and alternative drives as well as mechanical engineering – lightweight design and development.
