Audi wins in the Eifel

Audi driver Kelvin van der Linde proved to have strong nerves in the thrilling final phase of the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring and maintained his lead across the finish line. Together with his team-mates Robin Frijns, Dries Vanthoor and Frédéric Vervisch, the South African celebrated overall victory in the number 15 Audi R8 LMS of Audi Sport Team Phoenix with a lead of 55 seconds. With car number 22 in fourth place, directly followed by car numbers 16 and 24 in fifth and sixth, three more GT3 sports cars of the four rings finished the race in the top 10.
