Audi customer teams celebrate double victory in Silver Cup

Up to the finish line of the 24 Hours of Spa, the Audi customer racing teams Team WRT and Attempto Racing fought a thrilling three-way battle for class victory in the Silver Cup with their rivals from Lamborghini. After 24 hours of racing, Team WRT, with Thomas Neubauer as the final driver in the #30 Audi R8 LMS, celebrated victory in the Silver Cup in 13th place overall, followed by Nicolas Schöll in the #99 Attempto Racing car in second place in class and 15th overall.

In the overall standings, the #66 Audi Sport Team Attempto crossed the finish line of the Spa 24 Hours in twelfth place as the best Audi Sport customer racing team. Audi Sport Team WRT with final driver Valentino Rossi finished in 17th place. Three other Audi R8 LMS cars crossed the finish line at the endurance classic in Belgium: number 25 from Audi Sport Team Saintéloc was classified in 19th place, number 33 from Team WRT in 24th place and WRT's sister car, number 31, finished in 39th place.
