24h Nürburgring (20h): Audi still with two cars in top ten

After 20 of the 24 hours of racing at the Nürburgring, two Audi R8 LMS cars were among the top ten. Audi Sport driver Christopher Haase was fifth in car number 39 for Audi Sport Team Land. Team Scherer Sport PHX rounded off the top ten: Kim-Luis Schramm was tenth in number 16. Audi Sport Team Car Collection, meanwhile, lost three positions: number 22 dropped to twelfth after a repair. Audi Sport driver Gilles Magnus had touched the guard rail while lapping an opponent. The team subsequently had to replace the track rods on the front and rear axles on the right-hand side of the car. The number 40 Audi of the three DTM Champions Mike Rockenfeller, Timo Scheider and Martin Tomczyk from Audi Sport Team Scherer PHX was in 13th place.
