Operating procedures starting in calendar week 30

Ingolstadt/Neckarsulm, July 17, 2024 – Changes to economic conditions, supply bottlenecks and the impacts of natural catastrophes and armed conflicts may lead to adjustments to production procedures and work situations in certain parts of the company. The Internal Communications department will publish the latest information to that end on this page.

Operating procedures in Ingolstadt

From July 22 to 26, production will be suspended on assembly line 3 (A3/Q2) due to a limited supply of components. From July 29 to August 16, production will be suspended on lines 2 (A4/A5) and 3 (company shutdown). Production on line 1 (Q6) will be suspended from July 29 to August 23. Operating procedures in Neckarsulm

A8 assembly will be carried out during two shifts in calendar week 30 (late shift Mon-Fri +60 minutes).

A6/A7 assembly will be carried out during two shifts in calendar week 30, with a shift extension of 12 minutes in the late shift. The subsections in A6/A7 assembly line sections 0 and 1 and pre-assembly KSK will carry out production during two shifts, with a shift extension of 60 minutes in the late shift. On Friday, July 26, production there will be carried out during two shifts during standard working hours.

A4/A5 assembly will be carried out as planned. The Böllinger Höfe will produce the Audi e-tron GT during a permanent early shift during standard working hours.

In Neckarsulm, the company shutdown will be in effect for all departments from Monday, July 29, through Friday, August 16. The ramp-up scenario for the subsections is exempted from the company shutdown and production-free period. This will be determined in coordination with the works council on site. The planned operating procedures in A5, A6 and A7 assembly have been adjusted as well. Production there will be carried out during two shifts, with a shift extension of 12 minutes in the late shift, from Monday to Friday in calendar weeks 34-36.

Assembly of the C series will be carried out during two shifts, with a shift extension of 60 minutes in the late shift, from Monday to Thursday in calendar weeks 37-39. Assembly of the D series will be carried out during two shifts, with a shift extension of 60 minutes in the late shift, from Monday to Friday in calendar weeks 34-39. There will also be special shifts on August 24, August 31, September 21 and September 28, each from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Upstream departments may differ from these production procedures.
