MMI navigation plus also includes the Audi virtual cockpit whose high-resolution display measures 12.3 inches. Operation is via the multifunction buttons on the steering wheel. There is also a head-up display which projects information relevant to the driver into the driver’s field of view on the windshield, for instance a detailed junction map for the navigation. Besides the MMI touch response operating system the A6 also offers the online voice control system. This allows a wide range of vehicle functions, such as controlling the air conditioning system, to be performed using everyday speech commands. The A6 is thus an intelligent dialog partner and travel companion. MMI navigation plus and Audi connect – more convenience in the business class The A6 features a full range of navigation, infotainment and Audi connect offerings that make it a smart business-class sedan. With each profile, up to seven drivers can individually store around 400 preferred settings. The natural-language voice control responds to operating commands and questions on the basis of data stored onboard; also with detailed knowledge from the cloud in conjunction with the optional MMI navigation plus. With its extensive connectivity lineup, the new Audi A6 is always online. The powerful MMI navigation is fitted standard. Audi offers the MMI navigation plus – a highly networked media hub – as an option. The data transfer module uses the new LTE Advanced standard. When it comes to navigation, both systems offer many innovations, including a self-learning function based on the driven routes. The route guidance is calculated online on the servers of the partner HERE. Each year there are four free map updates, optionally supplied over-the-air to the car. Audi connect online services also include the car-to-X services “Traffic sign information” and “Hazard information.” The myAudi app connects the owner’s smartphone to the digital ecosystems of the Four Rings.

Audi presents a dedicated variant from the Q6 e-tron family for its largest market, China, at Auto China in Beijing Audi CEO Gernot Döllner: "With the Q6L e-tron, we are bringing a tailor-made offering for our customers in China" The Q6L e-tron is the first PPE model to be built in the new factory in Changchun
The Audi Q6 e-tron series are the first production models on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), marking the next step in the company's transformation into a provider of premium electric mobility. At the Beijing Auto Show 2024, the brand with the four rings is presenting a tailored variant for the Chinese market - the Audi Q6L e-tron.
The electrically powered car will be shown as an exterior model at the spring motor show in the Chinese capital; the series version will then make its public debut in the fourth quarter of 2024. Like other PPE models for the Chinese market, the Audi Q6L e-tron will be locally produced in a new factory in Changchun. The first deliveries to customers will take place in 2025. The Audi Q6L e-tron is defined by impressive driving and charging performance, excellent efficiency, and an even greater range than the global model. The wheelbase, longer by 105 millimeters, also allows the installation of a larger battery. With it, CLTC ranges of more than 700 kilometers will be possible. The letter “L” in the name signals the long wheelbase, which is also becoming the hallmark of outstanding long-distance capability. Audi has been building “L” models with an extended wheelbase for the Chinese market for decades. The A6L and A4L are the best-known large-volume versions, alongside the Q5L, A8L, and A8L Horch. Now, Audi is adding the L model to the Q6 e-tron family - providing even more space, comfort, and everyday usability. Together with the new interior design philosophy, the Q6L e-tron is creating a very exclusive and generous space for passengers in the market.

However, not just the headlights’ extended range of functions is new, so is their design. The higher position of the daytime running lights gives the Q7 a wider appearance and more expressiveness. For the first time, the Q7 also features largely digitalized OLED rear lights (OLED = organic light emitting diode) as an optional extra, which also feature four digital light signatures. In addition – as in the Audi A8, Q8, and Q5 – the digital OLED rear lights have a proximity indication feature in conjunction with the assistance systems: When other road users approach the stationary Q7 from behind to within two meters (6.6 ft), the control units automatically activate all of the digital OLED segments. Additional functions include dynamic turn signals as well as various coming home and leaving home sequences that match each digital light signature. New decors, colors, and wheels expand the equipment range With the latest product upgrade, Audi has once again refined the equipment range for the Q7. The seams on the seat trim in the base model now come standard and in a contrasting gray color. There are also nine decorative inlays available to choose from. New in the equipment range: Natural Elm Burl Silver for the base model, Matte Carbon Twill, and Matte Brushed Aluminum with linear embossing in silver for the Q7 with the S line sport package, as well as for the SQ7 TFSI. Three new finishes are available that allow customers to further personalize the Q7. For a particularly sporty appearance, the range of metallic finishes now includes Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, and Chili Red. But customers can look forward to more new features in more than just finishes: The wheel range offers a choice of five new 20” to 22” wheel designs.
To mark the 40th birthday of Audi Sport GmbH, which evolved from quattro GmbH founded in 1983, the company presents 40 exciting facts.
quattro and quattro GmbH: Audi registered the quattro brand in 1979. The term quattro (Italian for “four”) stands for the drivetrain of an automobile that transfers power to all four of its wheels. In March 1980, the brand with the four rings presented the quattro sports coupé, its first model with permanent all-wheel drive. This cutting-edge technology, which offers a particularly high level of dynamic handling, safety, and unique driving pleasure, is still the basic feature of all Audi RS models today. In 1983, Audi founded quattro GmbH as a wholly owned subsidiary. The original goals were to protect the quattro name and marketing rights internationally in a legal manner, and to supplement the Audi portfolio in a targeted way with sophisticated product and service ranges bearing the quattro logo. The original: Audi systematically extended the offering of vehicles with permanent all-wheel drive to all of its model ranges in the 1980s. To identify the forefather of all the brand’s all-wheel drive models, the first Audiquattro was later given the name “Ur-quattro” in German. With 147 kW (200 hp), the sports coupé was in the sports car league at the time. Thick cheeks: The characteristic fender flares – known as blisters – marked the first Audiquattro. This feature is at the core of Audi’s design DNA. “Making technology visible” is the name of this central design philosophy of the brand with the four rings. Audi also emphasizes the strong quattro character with this striking design feature on many of the current RS models. October 10, 1983: On this day, Audi founded quattro GmbH, which was renamed as Audi Sport GmbH in 2016. The name quattro GmbH unmistakably stands for the special note of individuality, sportiness, and exclusivity that Audi’s new corporate subsidiary delivers. Its first managing director was Jens Neumann.
Expressive appearance guarantees high recognition value for the flagship in Audi’s SUV range Individualization of headlights and rear lights through digitalization Equipment range with new exterior colors, wheels, and decorative inlays underscores dynamically elegant look
Audi is updating the flagship of the Q family with a pure design and upgraded technology. The revised exterior aesthetic with new front and rear aprons underscores the strong character of the SUV coupé. The optionally available S line exterior package caters to customers who desire more sportiness. For the first time, Audi is equipping the Q8 with HD Matrix LED headlights, including a laser as an additional high beam. These headlights feature digital daytime running lights and selectable light signatures. Digital OLED rear lights with four selectable rear light designs complete the expanded light offering. New wheels, colors, decorative inlays, and seats with contrast stitching highlight the car’s top position among the Q models. The new Audi Q8 starts at 86,700 euros.
Revised, generous, striking: the exterior design With its expressive design, the revised Q8 is a sporty, elegant SUV coupé from the brand with the four rings. With its clean shape, generous surfaces, and clear volumes, the Q8 paints a dynamic picture. The short overhangs and long wheelbase make for sporty, elegant proportions that can be accentuated with distinctive exterior colors and wheels. The unmistakably powerful and upright Audi Singleframe with an octagon design now impresses with vertical inlays. They are arranged in teardrop shape in the base exterior and designed in the shape of an L in the S line exterior package and the SQ8 TFSI.
