Using high-tech and local partners to combat plastic garbage in Thailand’s rivers

Since the beginning of May this year, a CollectiX waste collection boat from the green start-up "everwave" from Aachen has been patrolling the Chao Phraya and its canals. The river, which flows through the capital, Bangkok, carries about 385 tons of waste into the ocean every year.
