The NSU 6/60 supercharged racing car built in 1926 was the highlight in pre-war automotive development at NSU. This car won the first "Grand Prix of Germany" on the Avus in Berlin in the 1500 cc class. Its four-stroke straight-six engine developed 60 horsepower, accelerating it to 175 km/h. Back then this model finished in the first four places in the 1.5-litre class.
