Closed loop system for aluminium: Volkswagen Slovakia heads for CO₂ neutrality

The heart of the press plant in Bratislava is the press, which is one of the most powerful presses in the Volkswagen Group. The total pressing force is 91,000 kN. For a better idea: this pressure would be generated if 4,245 Volkswagen Touareg were stacked on top of each other. Such a tower would theoretically be 7 kilometres high.
