24h Nürburgring (24h): Audi in sixth place

Audi finished the 51st edition of the Nürburgring 24 Hours in sixth place. The Audi Sport driver trio of Christopher Haase, Christopher Mies and Patric Niederhauser achieved this result in the number 39 car from Audi Sport Team Land. Three other Audi R8 LMS cars finished in positions eleven to 13. Team Scherer Sport PHX, ninth until the final hour of the race, dropped to eleventh with Audi Sport drivers Ricardo Feller and Markus Winkelhock and teammates Michele Beretta and Kim-Luis Schramm in number 16 after a puncture. Twelfth place went to the number 40 car of the three DTM Champions Mike Rockenfeller, Timo Scheider and Martin Tomczyk from Audi Sport Team Scherer PHX. Audi Sport Team Car Collection followed behind with number 22 and Max Hofer at the wheel. He shared the cockpit with his Audi Sport driver colleagues Luca Engstler, Gilles Magnus and Dennis Marschall.
