Thomas Hasenbank - Biography

Thomas Hasenbank was born in Schwandorf in 1968. After training as an industrial business manager and gaining several years of professional experience, he studied business education at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU).
Upon completing his doctorate at LMU, Hasenbank joined Audi in 2001, initially coordinating interdisciplinary training at the company’s Ingolstadt location. He then served as a human resources officer in mechanical production and as an assistant to the head of human resources before moving to Audi Brussels in 2007 to become head of transformation management.
In early 2010, Hasenbank returned to Ingolstadt, managing the human resources department for over six years. In 2016, he became head of HR policy and labor relations, where he played a key role in developing the Audi.Zukunft (Audi.Future) agreement.
In 2020, he joined the transformation project focused on the future organizational structure of production and logistics. More recently, beginning in 2021, he established and led the Operational Excellence division, overseeing recruitment, HR consulting, and the Audi Academy.
Since August 1, 2024, Hasenbank has been Head of Human Resources at Audi Neckarsulm, where he is responsible for all HR matters at the site in Baden-Württemberg.
