Knut Krösche - Biography

Knut Krösche was born in Varel in 1969. After training as an industrial clerk in Wilhelmshaven, he completed a degree in business administration at the University of Cologne in 1996.

Mr. Krösche began his professional career in 1997 at Adam Opel AG (now Opel Automobile GmbH), where he held various management positions. After a spell as Sales Manager at Saab Deutschland GmbH, he worked for the FleetLogistics Group from 2006 to 2008 as Operations Director and later Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Krösche has been with the Volkswagen Group since 2008, initially joining as Head of Sales at SEAT Deutschland GmbH. In 2011, he moved to Volkswagen Financial Services AG, where he developed the financial and mobility service provider’s international leasing business. He was also carmobility GmbH’s Managing Director from 2013.

From 2017, Knut Krösche held the position of Chief Sales Officer at Volkswagen Leasing GmbH, the leasing business for new and used vehicles for the Group's brands in Germany, Poland, and Italy. He was also in charge of overall sales for banking and leasing business in Germany.

More recently, in 2020, he became Head of Digital Business & Mobility Services at Volkswagen's subsidiary, CARIAD SE.

Mr. Krösche has been Senior Vice President Retail Business Development, Customer Services at AUDI AG since September 2023. His responsibilities include global parts and accessories sales, logistics, training concepts for sales, aftersales and service technology, as well as the customer care area.
