Audi announces a new entry-level electric model family: the A2 e-tron

Audi will unveil the new A2 e-tron in fall 2026, complementing its portfolio with an all-electric entry-level model family in the compact class. The A2 e-tron, manufactured in Ingolstadt, will further rejuvenate Audi’s model range and open up access to premium electric mobility. A preview of the vehicle’s silhouette can already be seen in the first design sketch.

Following a successful world premiere, the Audi RS 5 has now shown off its dynamic driving in real-world conditions during its first drive in Morocco. On the Circuit de Marrakech and the winding roads of the Atlas Mountains, the first high-performance plug-in hybrid from Audi Sport showed what it’s made of: uncompromising performance, precision, and electrified athleticism that breaks the mold.

Audi appoints new management in key markets

Audi is strengthening its position in the key markets of China and North America with a series of high-profile leadership appointments. Effective April 1, 2026, Daniel Weissland will take over as President of the FAW Audi Sales Company in China. Vito Paladino, currently President and CEO of Volkswagen Group Canada as well as President of Audi Canada, will succeed him as President of Audi of America and Head of Audi North America Region. Going forward, Audi Canada will be led by Khaled Soussi. Michael Arndt, currently President of FAW Audi Sales Company, will assume the role of Managing Director for Volkswagen Passenger Cars in Korea. Furthermore, on June 1, Matthias Schepers, currently President of Volkswagen Group Japan and Managing Director Audi Japan, will take over as Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Audi China.

Emerging artists, an innovative crossover production, and classical music in the open air: the Audi Summer Concerts 2026, taking place from June 26 to July 26, are all about musical encounters. The festival kicks off with two open-air concerts that shine a spotlight on rising international stars. A major highlight is a new staging of the opera “Dido and Aeneas,” blending Baroque music, beatboxing, and urban dance. A diverse family-friendly program rounds out the experience. Tickets for all ten concerts go on sale at 10 a.m. on February 26.

Intelligent networking makes driving more comfortable, efficient and safer. That is Audi's goal in the digitalization of the vehicle. With immediate effect, the brand is adding two services to its app portfolio – already featuring offerings from partners across entertainment, gaming, and music – with two services that contribute to this orientation. “EasyPark” makes paying for parking effortless, while “ryd” handles fueling, charging and even car washes – all from the comfort of the car. The benefits: less stress when looking for a parking space and fuel stations, shorter waiting times, and always having the right payment option at hand.

Audi Q5 takes on the Alps for a winter adventure

The thermometer reads a crisp zero degrees Celsius as a dozen journalists gather in a parking lot at Munich Airport. Six Audi Q5 – two SUVs and four Sportbacks – await their assigned driver pairings for a road trip in the Alps. The lineup covers almost the entire engine range: four gasoline-powered, top-of-the-line SQ5 – two Sportbacks and two SUVs – plus two additional Sportbacks, one burning gasoline and one diesel. Audi Genuine roof boxes are mounted on both SQ5 SUVs, while ski bags fit easily in the trunk once the rear seats are folded down. Stowing luggage and sports equipment is quickly sorted.
