My first Audi model was an Audi 80 Avant, which I got in 1994, and then came an A4, an A3, an A6, a Q5, a Q7, a Q3, and an A7, in that order. The modifications I needed always worked perfectly. When I changed the car, the fitters took the components out of the old one and put them in the new one. Schönfelder: With the Q4 e-tron, the driving aids are actually available from the factory. Changing from a gasoline engine to an electric model was a big adjustment for me. But I was curious and have never regretted it. You have to plan a little more before undertaking longer journeys. I find the e-tron route planner very useful here, especially for getting to the Audi charging hub or IONITY, where I can charge in comfort. Then I have a relaxing drive, particularly as I start out earlier due to the charging stops, and reach my destination in a calm frame of mind. In this way, I almost always have time to spare. While the car is charging, I can drink a coffee – out of a proper cup to boot. As I drink, I work on my laptop. I’ve now clocked up 50,000 kilometers. With my new Q4 e-tron, I can even charge at a rate of up to 175 kW, which makes charging times at fast-charging stations even shorter. Herrmann: Storage space is very important for me. After all, I have to take my wheelchair wherever I go. The accessibility features at the Audi charging hub would definitely make my life easier. When I go to the gas station today, I look for somebody to go with me because of my personal needs. Moreover, with an electric model, I could charge my car at my workplace. I think it’s important for cities and municipalities, as well as for manufacturers and operators, to implement our requirements regarding accessibility. Schönfelder: Agreed. Just like Audi is. Charging at the Audi charging hub is not only fast but comfortable. I’ve been to the charging hub in Nuremberg, which has a 200-square-meter lounge, three times now.

In the basic version of both models, the front is finished in Matte Black with a chrome frame. On the the advanced line, reserved specifically for the A6, the radiator grille is finished in Dark Chrome; the front stands out with side air intakes, and the rear with a diffuser in the new dynamic design with a plastic blade painted in Selenite Silver. The advanced line also includes sporty 18-inch wheels. The S-line variant is available for both models. Here, the Singleframe features chrome inserts.
In various Audi models as of summer 2023 The store for apps will be available from June in selected models that are equipped with the latest MIB 3 software cluster, specifically the Audi A3, A4/A5, Q5, A6/A7, A8, Q8 e-tron, and Audi e-tron GT. Audi and CARIAD – a shared path To develop and ensure the success of complex digital systems such as the new store for apps, Audi uses the bundled knowledge and synergies within the Volkswagen Group. CARIAD, the group’s software company, is developing the technology stack for automated and connected driving – including of a consistent electronic architecture, a software platform, and a reliable connection to the automotive cloud – for all of the group’s brands. CARIAD is also working on driver assistance systems, a standardized infotainment platform, and a new digital ecosystem centered around the car.
Many Audi models are already holoride-capable To enjoy the holoride experience, passengers need the “Pioneers’ Pack” starter kit and a holoride-capable Audi vehicle from the A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, Q5, Q7, Q8, Q8 e-tron, Audi e-tron, Audi e-tron Sportback, and Audi e-tron GT model lines. The model year 2023 vehicle (production date 25/22 and later) and the third-generation modular infotainment kit (MIB 3) are prerequisites. The Audi models mentioned are holoride-ready across the European market, Canada, the United States, Japan, and China. The availability of holoride itself may be different depending on the individual market. A virtual reality headset enabled for holoride must be connected wirelessly to the vehicle via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Action-packed VR adventure and a retro game At launch, holoride users can immerse themselves in two blockbuster games and a range of interactive content. In the VR game “Cloudbreakers: Leaving Heaven,” players control Dev, his scavenger robot Skyjack, and I.O.N.E. through the hostile skies of Stratus, collecting scrap metal and chasing AI guards, all while traveling to their actual destination. This is accomplished through holoride’s “Elastic Content”: the game content adapts to driving movements, journey time, and driving route. Following the successful VR titles “Pixel Ripped 1989” and “Pixel Ripped 1995”, a new version of the nostalgic game with a 2D look is coming out. In the game specially designed for the car, players accompany the Keene family on a Christmas trip and support David Keene on his mission. The twist here is that the car’s movements are incorporated into the game, developed by the game studio ARVORE.
The UK home market rose by 25 per cent to 1,126 vehicles while the Americas is still the strongest sales region overall, with a 7 per cent increase to 3,154 cars. Bentley is expecting a strong end to the year thanks to the introduction of the Bentayga Extended Wheelbase (EWB) model, the new luxury flagship SUV offering the best rear cabin experience since the Mulsanne. The EWB has so far accounted for approximately 40 per cent of Bentayga orders since launch. The latest figures continue to support Bentley’s industry-leading Beyond100 strategy, as the company looks to reinvent its entire product range to support an electrified future, achieving carbon neutral status by 2030. This includes a €3 billion, ten-year investment programme in future products and at the Pyms Lane factory in Crewe, where all Bentley models are built. Adrian Hallmark, Chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors, said: “While Bentley continues to tackle the challenges it faces in the global market, this latest set of financial figures shows strong results in most regions. The continued growth in revenue per car supports the options and limited edition models created by Bentley’s in-house coachbuilder Mulliner and the positive customer reception to our increasing range of model derivatives. Furthermore, the launch of the new Bentayga Extended Wheelbase model is expected to further boost sales of Bentley’s luxury SUV.” Q3 year-to-date financial figures Financial result 2022 Q3 YTD 2021 Q3 YTD Revenue €2.490 billion (+28%) €1.949 billion Operating Result €575 million (+109%) €275 million Return on Sales 23.1 per cent 14.1 per cent Q3 year-to-date sales figures Market 2022 Q3 YTD 2021 Q3 YTD 2022 Q3 YTD (% of total sales) Americas 3,154 (+7%) 2,952 28% Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macau 2,693 (-17%) 3,247 24% Europe 2,133 (+18%) 1,814 19% Asia Pacific 1,531 (+17%) 1,304 13% United Kingdom 1,126 (+25%) 899 10% Middle East, Africa and India 679 (-5%) 718 6% Total 11,316 (+3%) 10,934 100%

About holoride holoride leads the way in expanding the boundaries of in-vehicle entertainment with its innovative “Elastic Content.” Founded in 2018 by Nils Wollny, Marcus Kuehne, Daniel Profendiner and Audi, holoride connects Extended Reality (XR) content in real-time with motion and location-aware vehicle data, such as physical feedback and navigation, to create hyper-immersive XR content and experiences for passengers. With holoride, the Metaverse becomes the Motorverse as users take the power and potential of an immersive web3 experience with them on the road. At the center of it all is RIDE, holoride’s own cryptocurrency, which was conceived to supercharge the content ecosystem, drive engagement, and create value for all users. The RIDE token connects car manufacturers, content creators, brands, and passengers for a novel in-vehicle economy. In March 2021, holoride won SXSW Pitch in the “Gaming, Entertainment, and Content” category and went on to receive the competition’s prestigious “Best in Show” award.
