Dr. Johannes Roscheck - Biography
He returned to AUDI AG in Ingolstadt in 2002 as Head of Controlling Production and Logistics and was appointed General Secretary of the CEO the same year. Two years later, Roscheck started work for Audi of America as Head of the Turnaround project “Strategy North America”. Subsequently, he became Executive Commercial Director of Finance, Sales, IT, Purchasing, Legal and Compliance at Audi Hungaria Motor Kft. and was later involved in establishing the new holding company for the Audi Group in Hungary as a Member of its Board of Management. Between 2013 and 2016, he was a co-founder of a start-up in the green tech business and worked for various consulting companies. In 2017, he returned to the four rings as CEO and President of Audi do Brasil in 2017 and worked in Sao Paulo until 2021. Under his leadership, the company became profitable, and he successfully paved the way to shift Audi to electric mobility in the market. From 2022 to 2024, he was Vice President of Controlling and Accounting for the Audi Group. In April 2024, Roscheck was appointed President of Audi China.
Jörg Schlagbauer - Biography

Jörg Schlagbauer was born in Kösching/Eichstätt, Germany, in 1977. He began his vocational training as an industrial clerk at AUDI AG in 1995 and then worked as a clerical assistant in the accounts receivable department from 1998. In addition to his professional posts, he studied at the Administration and Business Academy (VWA) in Munich from 1999 to 2003, graduating with a degree in business management. Jörg Schlagbauer has been active in employee representation since 1997 – initially as a Member, later as Vice Chairman, and, from 1999, as Chairman of the Youth and Trainee Representation and the General Youth and Trainee Representation. In 2002, he became a Member of the Works Council at Audi in Ingolstadt. Since 2006, he has been a Member of the General Works Council, the Economic Committee, and the Supervisory Board, as well as the Executive Works Committee of the Works Council. He has been a Member (since 2010) and Vice Chairman (since 2017) of the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board. After serving as Vice Chairman of the Works Council for six years, he was elected Chairman of the Works Council at the Ingolstadt site and Chairman of the General Works Council of AUDI AG in 2023. In 2024, he also took over as Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AUDI AG. Schlagbauer has also worked for IG Metall Ingolstadt and Bayern since 1995. In addition to his role as a workers’ representative, he was a Member of the IG Metall committee of workers’ representatives at Audi from 1999 until 2004. From 2004 to 2006 he was Vice Chairman and from 2006 to 2024 he was Chairman.
Karl Meier - Biography
After graduating from high school, he studied industrial engineering at the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) and obtained his degree in 2003. At the same time, Meier founded a sports management consultancy in 2001, and he served as the company’s CEO until 2008. Meier also held various positions in AUDI AG’s Production Planning department starting in 2003, including assistant to the Plant Manager at the Ingolstadt location and assistant to the Board Member for Production and Logistics. He then transferred to Audi Hungaria in Győr, where he spent three years running ramp-up management at the Hungarian location. In 2019, Meier returned to Ingolstadt and took on two more management positions – Head of Product Engineering Management/Strategy and, starting in 2021, Head of Production Project Management in the Product Lines. Among other things, he was responsible for the production of models based on the Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB) and the Scalable Systems Platform (SSP3x). Meier became Head of Strategic Planning at AUDI AG in September 2023. In this role, he’s responsible for the implementation of the 360factory production strategy, the orientation of the Audi production network and the corresponding production structures at the Ingolstadt, Neckarsulm, Győr, Brussels and San José Chiapa locations, as well as central management of the Production division. On top of his roles at Audi, he also became Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the FC Ingolstadt 04 soccer club in 2020 – a club he himself used to play for.
Michael Breme - Biography
He became Site Coordinator of the Ingolstadt Tool Shop and Deputy Head of the Audi Tool Shop in 2008. Breme became Head of the Audi Tool Shop in 2009 and had overall responsibility for the toolmaking sites in Ingolstadt, Neckarsulm, Győr/Hungary, Audi Tooling Barcelona (ATB) in Martorell/Spain and Audi Tooling China (ATC) in Beijing/China. Since 2015, he has also been Head of the Competence Center for Plant Systems and Forming Technology. Michael Breme became Head of Production and Plant Planning at AUDI AG in 2016. He was responsible in this function for the production-side planning of all Audi brand vehicle projects and for the planning and implementation of plant structures at all Audi sites worldwide. From the end of 2019 to October 2020, he headed the newly created “Strategic Planning” area. He was thus responsible for the continuous further development of an integrated Audi production strategy and the associated global production network. He assumed responsibility in this function for central management of the Production division. He was also responsible for the digitalization of production processes. From October 2020 to January 2024, Michael Breme was Head of Steering Business Area Product Lines & Module Management at AUDI AG. In this function, his task involved developing and implementing a future-oriented approach to module and platform management. He also took on all shared functions across the product lines, such as change management, product conformity assurance and the role of central function for the R division. These functions included central specifications for process, project, quality and risk management in line with Audi Operational Excellence requirements. Since February 2024, Michael Breme is Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria.
Antonio Casu - Biography
From middle 2013 to middle 2016 he worked at Audi in Ingolstadt as Upperbody Development Project Manager. In August 2016 he took over the Upperbody Development Responsibility at Italdesign in Moncalieri. Starting November 2016, he was Italdesign Chief Technical Officer. In October 2021 he has been appointed CEO.
Jörg Menges - Biography
From 2009 to 2016, Menges was head of assembly for the A3 and Q2 in Ingolstadt, where he managed vehicle assembly until 2019. Menges returned to FAW-Volkswagen in Changchun in 2019 as site manager of China’s largest automotive company. Jörg Menges has been Head of Product Engineering at AUDI AG in Ingolstadt since December 1, 2022.
Xavier Ros - Human Resources
The native of Spain started his professional career in Audi’s Production and Logistics division in Ingolstadt in 1994. Three years later, he took over project management activities on the Audi A8 product line. In 1999, Xavier Ros transferred to SEAT’s Technical Development division to advance the third-generation SEAT Ibiza in the Development Management department. In 2002, Xavier Ros was appointed Secretary General of SEAT. Five years later, he took over the role of Human Resources Strategy and Development Manager. Starting in 2011, Ros was appointed SEAT’s Personnel Director. From 2013 to 2015, Xavier Ros worked at VW Autoeuropa in Portugal, where he managed the Human Resources department as a member of its Executive Committee. He returned to Martorell as SEAT’s Executive Vice President for Human Resources and Organization in September 2015. Since May 20, 2022, Xavier Ros has been Labor Relations Director and Member of the Board of Management of AUDI AG for Human Resources.
Siegfried Schmidtner - Biography
Plant Manager Audi Ingolstadt site
Siegfried Schmidtner was born in Ingolstadt in 1971. After obtaining his high-school diploma, he studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, specializing in Construction and Development. He then completed a doctorate in Product Design and Process Chain Planning at Chemnitz University of Technology. In 1998, he joined Audi in Engine and Chassis Planning. As Head of Production Planning for six and eight-cylinder engines, Schmidtner spent two years in charge of all V6 and V8 engine projects at the Hungarian site in Győr. In 2006, Schmidtner became Head of the Audi A3 Ramp-Up and Analysis Center in Ingolstadt. Three years later, he moved to Vehicle Production Ingolstadt, heading up production of the Audi A3, the Audi TT and subsequently the Audi Q2. Among other things, he was responsible for the initial ramp-up of the Q2 and the ramp-up of the third generation of the Audi A3. As Project manager, he assumed responsibility in 2017 for the planning and control of all production activities for vehicle and platform projects for the Electric premium platform and the B series, i.e. the Audi A4, Audi A5, and Audi Q5, including the plug-in hybrids, in the Production division. From November 2018, Siegfried Schmidtner was responsible for the central functions of production at AUDI AG, with a focus on production strategy, digitalization and transformation in the Production division. Among other things, the current matrix-oriented structure was created there. In October 2019, Schmidtner took over management of the newly created Product Engineering department, at the intersection between the Production and Technical Development divisions. There, he was responsible for the virtual and physical assurance of product maturity and technical feasibility, worldwide production ramp-ups and the construction of all of the Audi brand’s prototypes and pre-series vehicles.
